How many weddings do you photograph each day?
Your wedding day is very important to us therefore we avoid taking on more than one wedding booking each day. No matter how small or large your wedding is, you will receive the same personal service.
Do you offer a wedding planning service? We don’t offer this service at the moment, as we focus on the photography side of our business, but we can put you in touch with an excellent wedding planner.

How would you describe your photographic style?
Our style is both traditional and photojournalistic, which means we aim to tell a story of the day through capturing key moments in an in-obtrusive manner. This does not mean we take `snapshots’ as this photography style does take some degree of posing and anticipating when a good shot is about to happen. Our approach will make you feel comfortable and relaxed, even for those who normally shy away from the camera. Our photography style has been described many times as natural, traditional and fun!
What are your most popular packages?
Our High Resolution CD packages are becoming very popular with our clients that are not resident in Cyprus, simply because they offer the most flexibility. By having a CD containing all your photographs you can take your time once home choosing your wedding album, photographs, and those you might like to have framed.
In addition, you can e-mail your friends that perhaps could not attend your wedding abroad.
What is a High Resolution CD?
The images on a high resolution CD contain more detail and ensure that you can print your photographs without compromising the quality.
Digital Photography must be a lot cheaper than using film so why are the costs the same or even higher?
Digital
Digital Photography has a number of advantages over film including easier image modification and checking images whilst on the shoot but overall it costs much more to shoot digitally professionally.
Film
When we used film, our equipment lasted many years and we didn’t need our IT equipment. Digital equipment, cameras, computers, software and hardware is often out of date within a few months or a year. We constantly change and upgrade our equipment every year. When we used film it was a simple task in dropping off our films at the lab and picking up when ready. Today, it is the photographer, not the lab who is working at the computer perfecting and presenting your images.
Digital Post Production
When a professional photographer shoots digitally, the post-production work required after photographing your wedding includes - downloading your images,
checking every image individually, re-naming files, color corrections, image re-touching, various batch actions, backing up onto external hard drives, burning back-up CDs and DVDs, uploading photographs to private on-line galleries, preparing proofs, delivery/collection, printing images, album assembly and design etc.
The whole process takes far longer than the shoot itself especially when there can be hundreds of photographs to action. So burning your completed final images to CD/DVD is one of the last actions we do in postproduction. It is the same for Videography and real quality professional editing takes time.
It seems expensive to book a professional photographer when you will only be at our wedding for a few hours. Why not ask a family member?
A professional photographer has the technical knowledge and skills to capture those special moments. To ask a family member to take photographs can put them under pressure and extra responsibility so they can miss out on relaxing and enjoying your day. Here in Cyprus we often work in very warm and bright conditions and it takes experience to know how to get the best results.
We do a lot of of hidden work `behind the scenes’ for your wedding in addition to taking the photographs.
We aim to complete and deliver before your departure date, but very occasionally this is not possible for many different reasons.
In this case, we use an excellent courier service, which takes just a few days. We use this service ourselves for the servicing of our professional photography equipment that sometimes we cannot arrange on the island.
What equipment do you use and do you take back up photographic equipment to the wedding?
We shoot with professional high quality digital equipment (occasionally film if requested by our clients) and have full backup equipment with us on the day. We invest in new filming and IT equipment each year.
Do you work alone?
This depends on the type of ceremony, location and number of guests. Very occasionally I work alone, but often Karen will attend your wedding with me and assist where necessary with extra lighting, organise the group photographs etc. On larger weddings (ie 200 guests or more) there will be additional professional photographer.
Do you visit the wedding venue?
If we have not photographed at your location then we will try to visit before your wedding or perhaps at a pre-wedding meeting with you.
How many photographs do you take?
This varies and depends on the number of guests, location etc. We do not count the number of shots and aim to capture as many photographs of your day as possible. Average varies between 80 and 350.
How long do you stay at the wedding?
We usually arrive 30 minutes – 1 hour before your ceremony, but we can arrive earlier if you so wish. Every wedding is unique, but for a small family wedding, the average time is around 2 - 3 hours.
We have a variety of packages and can offer you photography from bridal preparations right up to and including your reception.
What if you are unable to photograph our wedding due to illness?
We work closely with a good team of photographers here in Cyprus. In the very unlikely event, we were unable to photograph your wedding; we would endeavour to source another photographer on your behalf.
